The 4 HDMI inputs allow you to connect almost any laptop with an HDMI output. The software that controls the switcher can also be run off of any laptop.
The Blackmagic ATEM 1/ME includes 4 SDI inputs, 4 HDMI inputs for consumer cameras or computers, analog input, and SDI, HDMI and analog outputs including down converted SDI output and USB 3.0!
